Welcome Back!

We hope that all learners and their families have had an enjoyable summer holiday.  It was a beautiful sunny morning on Tuesday when we welcomed back our students for the start of another exciting session.  Although a little apprehensive the new S1 students have settled in well and we are looking forward to getting to know them.

Pupil Update Forms

All pupils were issued with their individual pupil update form on Tuesday.  Please review the information we hold for your youngster, make any necessary changes and hand back in to the School Office.  These forms are now overdue so please hand in ASAP.

Games Needed!!

Our Librarian would like to start a Games Club in the Library at lunchtimes and has asked if anyone has any board games which are no longer required. We would be particularly looking for Scrabble, Connect 4, Uno, Guess Who, Chess and Draughts but any games (with no pieces missing!) would be very welcome.  Any donations should be addressed to Annette Woolfson and left at the Office.

Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)

It’s time to apply for EMA - if your youngster is 16 before 28th February 2018 and is staying on at school they may be entitled to EMA payments of £30 per week.  Application forms are available to collect from the School Office.  Please note that an application form must be submitted for each academic year.
