Lawscot Foundation

The Lawscot Foundation is committed to supporting talented young people who have the potential to benefit from and contribute to the legal profession. Our aim is to ensure that if you have drive and talent, money will not be a barrier to becoming a solicitor in Scotland.

We aim to support at least eight students in 2019 by providing them with a bursary package of £2,500 per year during their studies, and a solicitor mentor to assist with careers advice.

We will give priority to individuals from less-advantaged backgrounds, so your social and economic situation will be taken into consideration.

The application form and further information, including eligibility criteria, can be found at www.lawscotfoundation.org.uk/apply.  Closing date for applications is 24 May 2019.
