N5/Higher Social Subject Assignments
Social Subjects are about to embark on their N5 and Higher Assignments. This makes up 20% of the final mark for N5 and 33% for Higher. Pupils have time to prepare their assignments in class and it is sat under exam conditions throughout March. Parents can support their child by making sure they are prepared and on course for their assignment. In addition, it is essentially a memory test so parents could time their child on a practise run in advance. If you have any questions about the timing of the assignments or anything else please direct them to Ms James. Thank you for your support. Please see attachment below for details of the various assessments.
A reminder that all S1 pupils should remain in school over lunch break.
Can parents/carers of pupils that bring home immunisation forms please ensure prompt return of completed forms as pupils without forms on immunisation days will not be immunised. We are unable to take consent over the telephone as the Assembly Hall has no telephone or mobile signal. S2 girls and above who have previously had one HPV immunisation will be called automatically for the second immunisation as they require 2 to be fully covered. Thank you in advance from the Immunisation Team.
